As of 5 October 2026, Andorra is not on the list of supported countries for opening a Stripe Payments account. Check Stripe’s official availability list before applying, as it may change.
Your customers’ location and your business’s country of establishment are different things. Selling to customers in France or Spain does not make an Andorran company a business established in either country.
Check eligibility before choosing your software
Before building your website around Stripe, identify:
- The entity that will sell and appear on sales documents.
- The country where that entity is established.
- Its activity and the products or services being sold.
- The account that will receive the money.
- The payment features your website or application needs.
This helps you check access to the service before spending weeks on an integration.
What about setting up a company elsewhere?
That is a business structure decision, not a checkout setting. A separate company brings requirements that need to be assessed with the appropriate professionals. Incorporation alone does not guarantee provider approval or make the structure suitable for your business.
Start with the problem you need to solve: accepting cards, managing subscriptions or using a particular platform. Each may have a different answer. Our guide to LLCs and Andorran companies explains the distinction.
How to compare payment options in Andorra
| What you need | What to check |
|---|---|
| Payments for an existing store | Platform, order and refund compatibility |
| A monthly service | Initial payment, renewals, cancellation and access |
| Payment for an agreed sale | Amount, payment link and confirmation |
| Payments in a custom application | Integration, notifications and failure handling |
First check that the provider can support your business, then examine how payments connect to the way you sell. A familiar brand name is not enough. If recurring payments are the priority, see our guide to subscription payment options.
Will you need to rebuild your website?
That requires a review of what you already have. Some stores support several providers; some applications depend heavily on specific Stripe features. Ask what can stay, what needs to change and how orders will be tested.
At AndorPay, we can start with that review. Tell us what you sell, which platform you use and whether you already have a bank payment service. We can then discuss a specific payment journey.
